1950s Inspired Shoot with Model Rachel Peru

When silver curve model Rachel Peru came to me with a 1950’s inspired shoot idea with these incredible bespoke robes from Rosie Red Corsetry, how could I resist! Sonia relished the theme and got straight to work putting Rachel in rollers and finishing with a bright red lip! Natalia Willmott added even more glamour with a wide range of her jewellery and added a bit of her flair dressing the sets.

This has to be one of the most amazing movement shots I think I have ever taken. I asked Rachel to swish the robe from side to side, smile and look towards the window and captured the robe in motion. (Lingerie set: ‘Playful Promises’)

Vamping up the hollywood glamour in this leopard print set from Elomi Lingerie

I had to get up high for this next set of shots to capture all of Rosie Red Corsetry’s stunning star robe. It certainly makes an amazing statement doesn’t it and Rachel felt incredible in it! Natalia added the gorgeous Grande Boule Necklace to complete the outfit along with a previously gifted body by Figleaves.

As a Lucy May Lingerie Ambassador, I couldn’t let this shoot go by without including her signature Maybella set, accessorised by Natalia Willmott. I also added this bird-cage veil from our prop box, which fitted really well with the theme.

….and last but by no means least, we went all Christmassy with a red 1950’s dress, holly and fairy lights. I love it when Rachel smiles, she lights up the room!
