It's been a sea-change for me!
Elizabeth came to us having never liked her body or a photo of herself ever before at the age of 65.
So when she put herself forward for a boudoir shoot I knew she was serious and I was going to make damn sure I smashed it for her.
"I've had a negative body image all my life - it was becoming so bad that I was feeling 'the ugly' everywhere I went - I could imagine people looking at me and thinking how ugly I was. In my entire life, I have never, ever seen a photo of me where I thought, that looks ok. And I've never, ever relaxed in front of the camera. I guess I got to the stage where I just wanted to accept myself, for who I am and what I look like - without the despair or the self-loathing.

The day was so much more relaxing an experience than I could have imagined. Natalie from Lucy May Lingerie was so reassuring and helpful - showing me how to stand, pose and see the positives - without being patronising. (FYI- she chose the ultimate full-day indulgence package, which includes a personalised lingerie fitting consultation)
I was very nervous and stiff at first - and the first image Helen showed me, made me cry - just in seeing what I could look like. Helen really had her work cut out with me, but her manner is so kind and gentle and patient, she makes the process so easy - and safe.
By the end of the afternoon, I was actually posing - full-on neck lifts and shoulders back! I even had a small twinge of enjoyment!! I pushed my safety net away and jumped right in. Thank you, Helen. You'll never know what a change you have made to my life - this was parachute jump stuff for me - no parachute!"
