I will help you conquer your boudoir nerves!
I know there may be some of you out there thinking …. but how on earth could she make me feel confident and relaxed in my lingerie?’ I absolutely promise you you will!
I know it sounds obvious but we’ll chat, we’ll shoot, we’ll laugh and before you know it you’ll have forgotten all about the nerves and start to really enjoy it. I genuinely care about how you are feeling and will do everything I can to make sure you feel happy and will encourage you through-out it all. We’ll have had a chat before-hand so I will know how you want to be photographed, what your comfort levels are, your favourite parts of your body etc. so that you are comfortable with everything we do.
This is so important as I know we all have those parts of the body we don’t want to focus on. Over the last 10-years I have mastered so many ways to de-emphasise the stomach, slim arms, elongate legs, enhance busts etc. We will have a chat before we start to discuss what your best outcome would be.

I like to show you the back of my camera early on, so you can get a sense of how amazing you look straight away. I find this really helps you feel at ease.
The great thing about having a professional make-over is, it not only makes you look incredible, it gives you time to relax and for us to get to know one another. I know many photographers only arrive when the make-over is complete, but I think this is a really important time to chat, discuss wardrobe choices and discuss what you’d like to achieve from your session with us.
When I went for my first boudoir shoot, they asked me to take off all my clothes, which made me feel really uncomfortable. So I work in the completely opposite way and always start off with a more conservative outfit and you will always have the choice on how much you reveal.
I always ask my clients what music they like to listen to and play it for them. I have this wonderful memory of a lady who loved George Ezra’s ‘Budapest’ and when we played it her face lit up and she swung her legs and smiled the biggest smile. It was so fabulous. I kept clicking and captured all that genuine emotion on camera. Moments like these are magic!
I will be asking you to follow a lot of instructions. You will need to know your left and right ha ha!!!. I’ll also be asking you to move around and do different things like running your fingers through your hair, play with your beads, slip on your shoes etc. You’ll be concentrating on what we are doing you won’t have time to remember how nervous you were!
We only have one shoot a day, so we have the luxury of time. Unlike some studios, who have strict time slots, we can take as much time as we need, so that you not only feel comfortable, but really shine!
