This September marks 9-years of Masque Photography! So I thought to mark the occasion I would show you our top 9 most requested photographs over the years. Starting with this crazy back-arch. It is a tough one, but well worth it! It has become one of our most popular shots ever over the last few years, starting with the amazing Sam.
This is our extremely talented make-up artist Becky, who did a bridal boudoir shoot for her husband with this gorgeous veil. Silhouettes are always a winner for me!
When creating a gift for your other half, I always ask if there is anything he loves which we can incorporate into the shoot. Guitar’s are a popular answer. The curves of a guitar lend themselves perfectly to the shape of a woman. Holding it up without dropping it, is the challenge with this one!
I have been asked for this shot many times since Lucy came to see us in 2015. Classy and sophisticated with her beautiful suit jacket and knee high-boots, I have re-created many versions of this ever since.
This has to be one of the most admired shots I have on display in the studio. It was taken in Malmaison in Leeds in 2014 with the only model I have ever photographed. She didn’t have particularly long legs, but the windowsill was so high in this room I was able to shoot from a really low angle to give them impression she does. The swish of the hips and stretch of the arms against the walls, make this is really fabulous shot!
This is such an iconic shot for us as it was from our very first photo-shoot in 2009 with a very good friend of mine. It remained on my promotional material for years!
Charmaine’s bike helmet shot has become quite an iconic one in the studio, I have re-created an incredible amount of times now with all sorts of objects including rugby balls, footballs and even a globe with the original lady herself.
Lauren recently came back to see me with her 6-week-old baby Kol and we did some gorgeous shots with her husband and baby son together. This shoot was pre-wedding and was given as a gift for her husband on their wedding day. This cheeky pose has been asked for multiple times ever since!
Last, but not least is this wine glass shot. Adding a bit of something she loves into her photographs. I have re-created with a champagne flute, a bottle of whiskey, and a cup of tea in a slightly different way too. What would you bring?
If you’d like to re-create any of these or anything else that inspires you we’d love to hear from you. You can contact me here.
