5 things you should know about a photo-shoot with us

1. You’ll be given the luxury of time 

When you join us in the studio we have all the time in the world for you to settle in, relax and enjoy the experience to the fullest. It is so incredibly obvious to me when somebody feels uncomfortable or tense in a photograph, so our ultimate goal is to help you feel at home through-out. Whilst you’re having your make-over we’ll chat about what we are going to do, so you feel comfortable with everything before the shoot. Having time to experiment with ideas and incorporate your props creates unique and personal work too, which really stands us apart from the competition. Generally we spend 3-4 hours together and we only have one shoot booked per day, so there is no-one chasing you out! We also have an incredibly fast turn-around time, so you’ll be able to view your images a week later and have your final artwork up to 2-3 weeks later.

2. We will tailor your shoot to your personality and sense of style 

 We don’t believe in one style fits all. We will find out exactly how you would like to be photographed, what your comfort level is, look at any images you particularly like etc. to tailor the shoot to you. We will match the feel of your shoot to the style of the lingerie/clothes you bring and your personality. As an example, someone who brings flowers and pretty lingerie would suit a more demure, feminine, coy look in comparison to a lady who brings her biker jacket and doc martins, where we really can show some personality! This is really what makes things so exciting, every shoot is different!

3. We have an all-female team 

A lot of my clients tell me they would have felt really uncomfortable around a male photographer, so this is definitely a plus point for many. I am on-hand with any wardrobe assistance you need. I’m now a dab-hand at clipping stockings into suspender belts, so if you need any help or advice about what to wear I’m there for you. 

4. You have an incredible choice of ways to present your photographs 

We have a beautiful selection of ways to present your images, including hand-crafted albums and a very special secret box, which presents your photographs on individual cards. We also have stunning frames, canvases, box frames and acrylic’s. Some albums you can write on the front, spread an image over a double-page, you can choose the fabric and wood etc. We also have an app for your phone, which is included in every package.  

5. Complete care for you 

I want this to be the most amazing confidence-boosting experience for you. It is my intention that you feel completely cared for and enjoy every single moment. We’ll always start in your most comfortable outfit. Standing up can be quite intimidating straight away, so unless you are happy to do so, we usually start laid down. I’ll give you complete coaching through-out and we’ll work through your outfits and ideas until we are ready to finish. I don’t stop until we’re both happy with everything we’ve done!
